Book takes readers on a fun, magical discovery that teaches profound principles they can apply to everyday life

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — David K has a driving desire to create a transformational paradigm of love, light, courage, and awareness.  For him, there is no better way than to educate children by creating a book that parents can read with their children and use the book’s principles to guide their child as well as their own lives.  Jobi and the Magic Collar (published by Balboa Press), is the first in a series of books that tells Jobi’s story and is narrated by an 8-year-old girl named Grace.

While vacationing in Hawaii, Grace discovers a collar with an ancient coin tagged to it and asks her parents if she can buy it for her dog Jobi, a Chocolate Labrador Retriever.  Her parents relent and purchase the collar. Upon returning home, Grace places the magic collar around Jobi’s neck. Suddenly, Jobi talks. No one believes Grace at first. Finally, Jobi talks to the entire family and imparts words of wisdom. Can Jobi talk because of the collar, or could he talk all along?

Jobi and the Magic Collar delivers a positive message that is wrapped in an interesting story featuring the mystical and magical Jobi, the Chocolate Brown Labrador Retriever.   Readers will experience a fun, magical journey that teaches awareness, love and that there is magic in life. Jobi and the Magic Collar should be shared by the entire family and I want each reader to feel love and happiness”, says Author David K.
